Pepsin A

Used in laboratory protein fragmentation; in rennet alternatives for cheese making; in digestive aid supplements; in histological tissue digestion; and in pharmaceutical stability testing for acid resistance.

Corrosive in acidic activation; potential for self-digestion of containers. Neutralize before disposal; wear acid-resistant aprons and ensure pH monitoring in workflows.

Supplied in 5 kg borosilicate glass jars with screw lids. Chill in pH-stable chemical refrigerators.
