Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP) is a high-efficiency Primary Plasticizer known for its excellent compatibility with nitrocellulose and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins. It is provided in Technical Grade with a 99.5% Purity level, offering superior solvent power and flexibility.

As a clear, oily liquid, it provides low-temperature flexibility and high stability in elastomer formulations. Its Low Viscosity makes it an ideal choice for manufacturing coatings, adhesives, and printing inks where rapid fusion and high gloss are required.

The chemical is widely utilized for its ability to enhance the workability of rubber and cellulose-based products. It remains a standard benchmark for Solvent-Type Plasticizers in industrial applications requiring high-precision resin modification.

Dibutyl Phthalate
  • Flexible PVC Production: Enhances elasticity and durability in plastic films, automotive parts, and household consumer goods.
  • Industrial Coatings: Acts as a plasticizer in nitrocellulose lacquers and paper coatings to prevent cracking and improve adhesion.
  • Adhesives & Sealants: Improves the flexibility and bonding strength of polyvinyl acetate (PVA) glues and various industrial sealants.

Classified as a Reproductive Toxin (Category 1B) and Environmentally Hazardous to aquatic life. Mandatory PPE includes Nitrile Gloves, Chemical Splat Goggles, and Type ABEK Respirators.

Available in 200 kg Steel Drums, 1000 kg IBC Tanks, or bulk ISO Tankers.
