Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is a high-performance Engineering Thermoplastic renowned for its exceptional impact resistance and toughness. It is supplied in Injection and Extrusion Grades, offering a balanced blend of strength, rigidity, and gloss.

The polymer is formed by grafting styrene and acrylonitrile onto a polybutadiene rubber backbone, resulting in High Impact Strength even at low temperatures. It provides excellent dimensional stability and ease of electroplating for high-end aesthetic finishes.

ABS is highly resistant to corrosive chemicals and physical impacts, making it the preferred choice for structural industrial parts. Its Superior Machinability and low melting point make it the global standard for 3D printing and rapid prototyping.

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
  • Automotive Engineering: Used for dashboards, wheel covers, and bumper components where durability and energy absorption are critical
  • Electronics Housing: Primary material for computer keyboards, telephone casings, and household appliance shells.
  • Piping & Construction: Utilized for drain-waste-vent (DWV) piping systems and protective headwear due to its rigidity.

Stable under normal conditions. Inhalation Hazard exists if dust or fumes are generated during cutting or heating. Ensure Adequate Ventilation and use Impact-Resistant PPE.

Standard 25 kg PE bags or 1000 kg Bulk Octabins.
