Zinc Diethyl Dithiocarbamate (ZDEC) is a specialized Technical Grade ultra-accelerator characterized by its rapid vulcanization rates in latex and rubber compounds. With 98% purity, it is an industry standard for achieving high-modulus results in natural and synthetic rubber.
This off-white powder provides excellent physical properties and high heat resistance to finished rubber components. It is less prone to bloom compared to other dithiocarbamates, making it ideal for high-visibility aesthetic rubber applications.
ZDEC is particularly effective when utilized as a secondary accelerator to thiazoles, significantly reducing the curing time in industrial rubber goods. It maintains superior performance in both sulfur-cured and latex-based systems.
