Glyceryl Isostearate is a high-purity monoester of glycerin and isostearic acid, valued for its exceptional emollient properties. Unlike linear esters, its branched structure provides a unique, velvety skin feel without a greasy residue.
This material functions as a superior W/O (Water-in-Oil) emulsifier, making it ideal for formulating luxury night creams and sunscreens. It enhances the dispersion of pigments in color cosmetics, ensuring even application and long wear.
The product remains liquid at room temperature, facilitating ease of processing in cold-mix formulations. It is highly compatible with diverse botanical oils and synthetic silicones, offering great formulation flexibility.
