Diisobutyl Phthalate (DIBP) is a high-performance primary plasticizer designed to enhance the flexibility and durability of vinyl polymers. This Technical Grade oily liquid is valued for its excellent low-temperature performance and rapid fusion rates.

It is particularly effective in nitrocellulose lacquers and cellulose ethers, where it provides superior crack resistance and film elasticity. As a fast-fusing plasticizer, it optimizes production speeds in PVC processing and molding.

DIBP is also utilized in the manufacture of sealants and adhesives, offering excellent compatibility with diverse resin systems. Its low viscosity facilitates ease of handling in automated pumping and dosing equipment.

Diisobutyl Phthalate
  • PVC Processing: Enhances the flexibility and impact resistance of vinyl films, cables, and flooring materials.
  • Coating Additive: Improves the durability and gloss of industrial lacquers and protective wood coatings.
  • Adhesive Formulation: Acts as a softening agent in PVA-based adhesives to prevent brittleness in bonded joints.

Classified as Toxic to Reproduction. Restricted in sensitive applications. Use Chemical Gloves, Safety Glasses, and ensure Total Containment.
