TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Sodium Propylparaben is a water-soluble preservative that serves as the sodium salt of propylparaben. It is widely used in Food Grade and USP/BP Grade applications due to its high effectiveness against yeasts, molds, and gram-positive bacteria.

- Cosmetic Preservation: Prevents microbial growth in water-based personal care products including shampoos, lotions, and liquid make-up.

- Pharmaceuticals: Used in the preservation of oral liquid suspensions and topical ointments to maintain sterility and safety.
SAFETY & RISKS
Classified as a Serious Eye Damage (Cat 1) agent. It can cause Skin Irritation and respiratory irritation if dust is inhaled. Mandatory PPE includes safety goggles, dust masks (N95), and protective gloves.
