Copper sulfate pentahydrate (CuSO₄·5H₂O) is a blue crystalline compound with biocidal and catalytic properties. It dissolves easily in water to release copper ions.
Copper Sulfate
Used in agriculture as a fungicide and micronutrient, in electroplating, and as an algicide in water treatment. Also serves as a catalyst in organic synthesis.
Harmful if swallowed and toxic to aquatic organisms. Use PPE and avoid environmental release.
