Butyl diglycol acetate (C₁₀H₂₀O₄) is a high-boiling ester solvent with low volatility and mild odor. It provides excellent coalescing and flow properties in coating systems.
Butyl Diglycol Acetate
Used in industrial paints, cleaning formulations, and printing inks. In coatings, it improves film formation and flow control, particularly in waterborne systems.
Low toxicity but prolonged contact can cause mild irritation. Avoid heating above flash point and ensure local exhaust ventilation.
Delivered in 200 kg drums or IBC tanks. Store sealed, cool, and away from oxidizing agents.
