Used extensively in coatings, adhesives, cleaning agents, and as a laboratory solvent. Also a feedstock in MMA and bisphenol-A production.

Highly flammable; vapors form explosive mixtures with air. Avoid static discharge and use explosion-proof ventilation. May cause transient drowsiness on exposure.

Delivered in steel drums, IBCs, or bulk tankers; store in cool, ventilated, fire-safe locations.
