Aluminum Chlorohydrate (ACH)
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Aluminum Chlorohydrate is a highly concentrated Inorganic Coagulant known for its high basicity and effective neutralization of suspended particles. It is available as a 50% Aqueous Solution or as a Fine Powder.
In water treatment, ACH offers superior turbidity removal compared to standard alum, requiring lower dosages and generating less sludge. It is a stable complex that functions efficiently across a wide pH range without significantly lowering water alkalinity.
For personal care, it serves as the active ingredient in high-performance antiperspirant formulations. Its astringent properties allow it to form temporary gel plugs in sweat ducts, providing long-lasting moisture control.
APPLICATIONS
- Municipal Water Treatment: Primary coagulant for drinking water purification and phosphorus removal in wastewater.
- Cosmetic Formulations: Active antiperspirant agent in roll-ons, sprays, and cream-based deodorants.
- Pulp and Paper: Used for pitch control and as a sizing agent to improve paper surface quality.
