TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Aluminum Distearate is a high-performance metallic soap that offers intermediate gelling properties between the mono- and tri-stearate forms. Our Industrial Grade powder is optimized for use in solvent-based coatings and polymer processing.
It acts as an efficient flatting agent and thickener, providing controlled rheology and anti-sag properties in varnishes and lacquers. The product’s hydrophobic nature makes it an excellent choice for moisture-proofing applications in harsh environments.
This chemical is particularly effective as a mold release agent and internal lubricant in the production of plastics and rubbers. It helps in achieving a uniform surface finish and reduces friction during high-speed extrusion or injection molding processes.
APPLICATIONS
- Flatting Agent: Utilized in high-quality wood coatings and industrial paints to achieve a desired matte or semi-gloss finish.
