Antiscalants are polymeric or phosphonate-based additives that inhibit mineral scaling in water treatment systems. They maintain membrane performance by preventing calcium, barium, and silica deposits.
Antiscalant
Used in reverse osmosis (RO) pretreatment, cooling towers, and boilers to control scale formation. They extend equipment lifespan and reduce chemical cleaning frequency.
Generally low-toxicity materials; concentrated liquids can irritate eyes and skin. Avoid mixing with cationic polymers unless compatible.
Delivered as aqueous solutions in HDPE drums or IBC tanks. Store in frost-free conditions and agitate before use if required.
