Calcium fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral (fluorspar) with low solubility and high optical transparency.
Calcium Fluoride
Used in metallurgy as a flux, in ceramics, and in optics for UV and IR lenses. It also serves as a precursor in hydrofluoric acid and aluminum fluoride production.
Low toxicity but may release fluoride fumes when heated. Avoid inhalation of dust.
Supplied in 25–1000 kg bags or drums. Store dry and sealed.
