Carbomer refers to a group of synthetic high-molecular-weight polymers of acrylic acid crosslinked with polyalkenyl ethers. They appear as white, fluffy powders.

Carbomer

Used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and personal care as a thickening, gelling, and stabilizing agent. It provides high clarity and rheological control in gels and emulsions.

Non-toxic; dust may cause irritation to eyes and airways. Handle in ventilated conditions.
