Chlorinated paraffin is a viscous, yellowish liquid obtained by chlorination of paraffin hydrocarbons. It varies in chlorine content from 40% to 70%.

Chlorinated Paraffin

Used as a plasticizer and flame retardant in PVC, rubber, and paints. Also acts as an extreme pressure additive in lubricants and metalworking fluids.

Stable but may release HCl upon decomposition. Avoid high heat and open flames.

Supplied in 200 kg drums or IBC tanks. Store cool, dry, and protected from sunlight.
