Glycolic acid is the smallest alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) with high solubility and reactivity. It is a colorless crystalline solid or viscous liquid with strong exfoliating properties.
Glycolic Acid
Used in cosmetics and dermatology for chemical peels, pH regulation, and skin renewal. Industrially, it serves in cleaning agents, textile dyeing, and polymer synthesis.
Corrosive at high concentrations; causes skin and eye irritation. Use protective gloves and goggles.
Supplied in 25–250 kg HDPE drums or IBC tanks. Store cool, dry, and tightly sealed.
