Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose is a non-ionic cellulose ether with strong thickening, emulsifying, and film-forming properties. It dissolves readily in cold water to form clear, viscous solutions.
Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose
Used in construction (as a cement and plaster additive), in pharmaceuticals for tablet coatings and sustained-release systems, and in personal care for viscosity control.
Non-toxic and biodegradable. Avoid dust formation and store dry to prevent caking.
