Used as a solvent, blowing agent, and intermediate in chemical synthesis. In polyurethane foam and insulation production, it serves as an eco-friendly blowing agent replacing CFCs. Industrially, it is employed in formamide and dimethylformamide (DMF) synthesis.
Highly flammable and mildly toxic by inhalation; avoid ignition sources and ensure adequate ventilation.
Supplied in 180–200 L steel drums or 1,000 L IBC tanks. Store cool, dry, and tightly sealed away from acids and oxidizers.
