Potassium Fluorosilicate
Used in aluminum and magnesium metallurgy, glass etching, and enamel manufacturing. In ceramics, it acts as an opacifier and fluxing material. It also finds application in rust removers and insecticidal formulations.
Toxic by ingestion and inhalation; prolonged exposure may affect bones and teeth due to fluoride content. Handle with respiratory protection and chemical-resistant gloves.
Supplied in 25 kg multiwall paper bags with polyethylene liners or 1,000 kg bulk sacks. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from acids.
