PPG-20 Methyl Glucose Ether is a Cosmetic Grade naturally derived humectant and skin-conditioning agent. It is a propoxylated methyl glucose that offers exceptionally low irritation and a smooth skin-feel.

This liquid ingredient acts as a powerful viscosity modifier and fixative in fragrances. It reduces the “sting” of alcohol-based formulations while providing long-lasting hydration to the skin.

As a multifunctional cosmetic additive, it improves the texture of creams and helps to stabilize emulsions. Its non-tacky finish makes it a preferred choice for high-end moisturizing and anti-aging products.

PPG-20 Methyl Glucose Ether
  • Aftershaves & Colognes: Reduces the harshness of alcohol and helps fix the fragrance on the skin.
  • Moisturizing Lotions: Functions as a humectant to bind water to the skin without a sticky residue.
  • Hair Care: Used in conditioners to improve combability and add shine to the hair.

Generally Non-Irritating and safe for cosmetic use. Standard industrial handling with Gloves and Safety Glasses is sufficient.

Available in 25 kg Pails or 200 kg Plastic Drums.
