Sodium Acetate is the trihydrate or anhydrous salt of acetic acid, white crystalline material highly soluble in water, acting as a buffer in pH 3.5-5.6 range. It is produced from glacial acetic acid neutralization, suitable for food and industrial uses per Brenntag acetates and ChemSpider solubility info.

Applied in food as flavoring agent in pickles; in pharmaceuticals for dialysis solutions; in textiles for dyeing assistants; in heat packs for reusable warmth; and in concrete for acceleration.

Mild irritant to skin and eyes; ingestion causes nausea in large amounts. Low fire risk but hygroscopic; handle with gloves to prevent moisture absorption; per EFSA, safe in regulated quantities.

Packed in 25 kg woven polypropylene totes with inner barriers against humidity. Keep in acetate storage bays with dehumidifiers for product integrity.
