Trypsin is a serine protease that cleaves peptide chains at the carboxyl side of lysine or arginine. This product is not for use in humans. It is for research purposes only. The product is intended for enzymatic digestion of protein samples for a variety of subsequent end-user applications in research and development.

Used in biochemistry for protein digestion in mass spectrometry; in cell culture for detaching cells; in pharmaceuticals for wound healing; in food processing for meat tenderizing; in research for enzyme studies.

May produce an allergic reaction; sensitising components: Trypsin; for skin contact, rinse with water; avoid inhalation of dusts; store tightly closed; clear spills immediately; wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.
