Vinyl Acetate, also known as Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM), is a critical Polymer Building Block for the global adhesive and coatings industry. It is provided in Industrial Grade at 99.9% Purity, stabilized with HQ or MEHQ inhibitors.

As a colorless, flammable liquid, it is the primary precursor for Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA) and Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate (EVA) copolymers. It offers excellent Adhesive Properties and film-forming capabilities, making it indispensable for wood glues and packaging materials.

VAM is highly reactive and easily copolymerizes with various monomers to produce resins with targeted flexibility and chemical resistance. Its role in Water-Based Emulsions is vital for the development of eco-friendly paints and textile finishes.

Vinyl Acetate
  • Adhesive Production: Primary component in wood glues (PVA), paper adhesives, and hot-melt bonding agents (EVA).
  • Latex Paints: Used as a monomer for vinyl-acrylic emulsions in interior architectural coatings and primers.
  • Packaging Films: Key ingredient in EVA copolymers used for food-contact barrier films and laminated safety glass.

Classified as a Highly Flammable Liquid and Suspected Carcinogen (Category 2). Handling requires Inert Gas Blanketing and PPE including Antistatic Footwear and Vapor Masks.

Available in 190 kg Steel Drums or bulk ISO Tankers.
