Zinc selenite (ZnSeO₃) is an inorganic compound used as a trace mineral source and semiconductor precursor. It forms white, fine crystalline powder soluble in acids but not in water.
Zinc Selenite
Used in animal feed premixes, nutritional supplements, and electronic materials. Also serves as an intermediate in producing zinc selenide for optical and photovoltaic devices.
Toxic in high doses; avoid ingestion or inhalation. Use with appropriate PPE and ventilation. Environmental releases should be prevented.
Delivered in 25 kg PE-lined drums or kraft bags. Store dry, sealed, and away from oxidizing agents.
