Aluminium Sulphate
Industrial aluminium sulphate is a highly effective coagulating agent used extensively in water treatment. It features high solubility and a superior ability to neutralize suspended particles for efficient sedimentation.
Commonly known as paper alum, it is critical for internal sizing in the paper industry to enhance ink resistance. The technical grade is preferred for consistent performance in leather tanning and textile dyeing.
This chemical is valued for its pH regulating properties and its role as a mordant in textile manufacturing. It ensures high-purity results in clarification processes across diverse industrial sectors.
Aluminium Sulphate
• Water Clarification: Used as a primary flocculant to remove turbidity and organic matter from municipal water.
• Paper Sizing: Applied in the papermaking process to improve water resistance and surface strength of the sheet.
• Textile Mordant: Enhances the binding of dyes to fibers, ensuring color fastness and vibrancy in fabrics.
Classified as Irritant. Exposure can cause severe eye irritation and skin redness. Operators should wear protective goggles, nitrile gloves, and long-sleeve workwear.
