Caustic Soda Beads (CAS 1310-73-2) are solid, white, hygroscopic beads of sodium hydroxide, an inorganic alkali that dissolves exothermically in water and is used for pH adjustment, soap production, pulp and paper processing and water treatment. They dissolve exothermically in water to form highly caustic solutions used in numerous industries.

Caustic Soda Beads
Applications
Used in chemical manufacturing, pH adjustment, soap production, pulp and paper, and water treatment. It is also applied in biodiesel processing and surface cleaning formulations.
Safety & Risks
Corrosive to all tissues; causes severe burns on contact. Use full PPE and face protection. Avoid contact with acids, metals, and moisture.
Packaging
Supplied in 25–50 kg HDPE-lined bags or drums. Store in dry, sealed conditions with segregation from acids and organic materials.
