Sulfamic Acid (CAS 5329-14-6) is an odorless, non-hygroscopic inorganic acid supplied as white crystals or crystalline powder, produced from urea and fuming sulfuric acid, and used in dye synthesis, descaling cleaners, herbicides, flame retardants, electroplating and paper processing. It has a density of 2.1 g/cm³, melting point 205°C (decomposes), and is moderately soluble in water.
