Rare Earth Elements

SoleChem supplies rare earth compounds to ceramic, glass, catalyst, water-treatment and electronics manufacturers: oxides, chlorides, nitrates, carbonates, fluorides, acetates and sulfates of lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, erbium, ytterbium, holmium, lutetium, thulium, yttrium and scandium, together with yttria-stabilized zirconia and selected rare earth metals.

Typical uses include Neodymium Oxide and Praseodymium Oxide as glaze and frit colorants, Lanthanum Oxide and Cerium Carbonate as catalyst and optical-glass raw materials, Lanthanum Chloride for phosphate removal in wastewater, Yttrium Oxide and Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia for dental and thermal-barrier ceramics, and Scandium Oxide for aluminium alloys and solid oxide fuel cells. Purity is stated on a rare earth oxide basis, with technical and high-purity grades available and specifications, certificates of analysis and safety data sheets provided for each product.
