Barium Selenite
Barium Selenite is a specialized inorganic compound primarily utilized as a refining agent in high-end glass manufacturing. It is supplied as a Technical Grade white powder with high purity levels.
The material is critical for the decolorization of glass, where it effectively neutralizes the green color imparted by iron contaminants. Its high density and low solubility contribute to stable performance in glass melt furnaces.
Commercially, it is preferred in the production of optical glass and decorative crystals for its ability to produce clear, colorless results. It maintains a stable chemical structure even under extreme industrial heating conditions.
