Barium Carbonate (CAS 513-77-9) is an inorganic barium salt in the form of a white fine powder, used as a flux, chemical intermediate and pigment component in glass, ceramic, glaze, brick and ferrite magnet production. It is insoluble in water but reactive in acidic environments.

Applications
Applied in glass and ceramic manufacturing, glazes, brick production, and ferrite magnet synthesis. It also neutralizes sulfate impurities in chloride solutions.
