Zeolite is a highly porous Technical Grade aluminosilicate mineral used extensively as a molecular sieve and ion exchanger. It features a microporous structure that allows for the selective adsorption of gases and liquids.

In the detergent industry, it serves as a high-performance phosphate-free builder, effectively removing calcium and magnesium ions from hard water. Its high cation exchange capacity ensures optimal surfactant performance.

Available in various pore sizes (3A, 4A, 13X), Zeolites are critical for dehydration and purification in petrochemical processing. They are chemically inert and thermally stable, making them ideal for rigorous industrial cycles.

Zeolite
  • Water Softening: Removes heavy metals and hardness ions in municipal water treatment and household detergents.
  • Gas Purification: Adsorbs moisture, CO2, and sulfur compounds from natural gas and industrial air streams.
  • Animal Nutrition: Used as an anti-caking agent and toxin binder in feed formulations to improve animal health.

Generally recognized as Safe (GRAS) but may cause Eye Irritation upon contact with dust. Use Standard PPE including Safety Glasses and Dust Masks during loading and unloading.
