Thiram is a versatile dithiocarbamate compound that functions as both a broad-spectrum fungicide and a high-efficiency rubber accelerator. Our Technical Grade powder ensures reliable cross-linking in specialized vulcanization processes.

In agriculture, it is widely utilized as a seed protectant, preventing soil-borne fungal diseases and acting as a powerful animal repellent. It exhibits excellent residual activity on plant surfaces, providing long-lasting protection for fruits and vegetables.

Within the rubber industry, Thiram serves as a primary ultra-accelerator for natural and synthetic rubbers, particularly in sulfur-less vulcanization. It provides finished products with superior aging resistance and mechanical durability.

Thiram
  • Seed Treatment: Protects corn, soybeans, and cereals from damping-off and seed rot during germination.
  • Rubber Vulcanization: Used as an ultra-accelerator to speed up the curing process of EPDM and SBR rubber.
  • Animal Repellent: Applied to trees and shrubs to deter rabbits, deer, and rodents from feeding.

Classified as Toxic and Skin Sensitizer. Mandatory use of Respirators, Chemical-Resistant Gloves, and Protective Coveralls is required.
