Isophoronediamine (IPDA) is a cycloaliphatic diamine used primarily as a high-performance epoxy curing agent. It is a colorless liquid with a faint amine odor and excellent chemical stability.

This Technical Grade amine provides cured epoxy resins with exceptional mechanical strength and chemical resistance. It is particularly valued for its ability to produce coatings with high gloss and low yellowing tendencies.

IPDA is also a critical intermediate for the production of Isophorone Diisocyanate (IPDI). Its unique structure allows for controlled reactivity, making it ideal for sophisticated polymer synthesis.

Isophoronediamine
  • Epoxy Floorings: Primary hardener for heavy-duty industrial floor coatings and self-leveling systems.
  • Composite Materials: Used in the manufacture of high-strength glass and carbon fiber reinforced plastics.
  • Polyurethane Precursors: Building block for weather-resistant PU resins and elastomers.

Classified as Skin Corrosion Category 1B and Skin Sensitizer. Mandatory use of butyl rubber gloves, protective clothing, and face shields is required.

190 kg steel drums or 950 kg IBC tanks.
