Sodium Laureth Carboxylate is an anionic surfactant known for its exceptional mildness and “crypto-anionic” behavior. It is typically supplied as a 60-70% active aqueous solution.

Unlike standard sulfates, it is highly stable at a wide pH range and exhibits excellent tolerance to hard water. This Cosmetic Grade surfactant provides a creamy lather and reduces the irritation potential of other surfactants.

It acts as an effective emulsifier and dispersing agent in both personal care and industrial formulations. It is preferred for “low-irritation” products like baby shampoos and intimate washes.

Sodium Laureth Carboxylate
  • Sensitive Skin Care: Used as the primary surfactant in baby bath products and facial cleansers.
  • Sulfate-Free Systems: Employed to improve foaming and skin-feel in premium sulfate-free hair care.
  • Metalworking Fluids: Functions as a high-stability emulsifier in industrial lubricant formulations.

Classified as Skin Irritation Category 2. Lower irritation profile than SLES, but safety goggles and gloves are recommended for bulk industrial handling.

200 kg drums or 1000 kg IBC tanks.
