Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate (DLS) (CAS 39354-45-5) is a Cosmetic Grade anionic surfactant supplied as a clear liquid, valued as a sulfate-free alternative for sensitive skin and baby care formulations, where it acts as a mild primary cleanser, hydrotrope and emulsifier in liquid soaps and shampoos. This clear liquid provides excellent detergency without stripping the skin's natural oils. It features a large molecular size that prevents skin penetration, resulting in very low irritation potential. It is compatible with other surfactants and helps to improve foam creaminess and stability in finished products.
