Butyl Hydroxy Toluene (BHT)
Widely used in food, cosmetics, and plastics for oxidative stability. In lubricants and fuels, it prevents polymerization and gum formation. Also used in pharmaceuticals as an antioxidant excipient.
Low acute toxicity; avoid inhalation of dust and prolonged skin contact. Use gloves and store under inert, cool conditions.
