Diphenyl guanidine (C₁₃H₁₃N₃) is a white crystalline accelerator for sulfur vulcanization of rubber compounds. It promotes fast curing and high tensile strength.
Diphenyl Guanidine
Used in tire, belt, and hose manufacturing as a secondary accelerator with thiazoles. Also applied as a catalyst in resin systems and corrosion inhibitors.
Harmful if inhaled or swallowed; may cause skin sensitization. Handle with gloves and local exhaust ventilation.
Supplied in 25 kg PE-lined paper bags or drums. Store sealed, cool, and dry away from sunlight and oxidizers.
