Methyl cellulose is a white, odorless, water-soluble polymer derived from cellulose etherification. It forms stable gels and viscous solutions upon hydration.

Methyl Cellulose

Used in construction, pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics as a thickener, stabilizer, and film-forming agent. In tablets, it acts as a binder and disintegrant; in coatings, it improves viscosity and adhesion.

Non-toxic and biodegradable. Avoid dust formation and excessive moisture.

Supplied in 25 kg multiwall paper bags or fiber drums. Store cool, dry, and tightly sealed.
