Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (CAS 9004-62-0) is a non-ionic, water-soluble cellulose ether supplied as a light yellow powder that forms clear, viscous solutions and is used in paints, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals for viscosity control, suspension and stabilization, and in construction to improve mortar workability and water retention. It forms clear, viscous solutions with excellent film-forming and thickening ability.
