Sodium Bichromate is a dihydrate sodium dichromate, orange-red crystals highly soluble, strong oxidizer containing hexavalent chromium for tanning and pigmentation. Manufactured from chromite ore, it adheres to purity from Sigma-Aldrich chromates and Brenntag inorganics.

Applied in leather chrome tanning; in pigment production for paints; in metal finishing for passivation; in wood preservatives against decay; and in dye oxidation processes.
