Aluminum Sulfate

Used in potable water and wastewater treatment to destabilize colloids and remove suspended solids. In paper production, it enhances sizing and retention. Also employed in dyeing, fireproofing textiles, and as a soil acidifier in horticulture.

Mildly acidic and irritating to skin and eyes. Avoid prolonged contact with moisture or alkalis to prevent decomposition. Handle with gloves and goggles.

Packed in 25–50 kg polyethylene-lined bags or bulk containers. Store dry, sealed, and away from bases and metallic powders.
