Amyl salicylate (C₁₂H₁₆O₃) is an ester with a floral, sweet odor widely used as a fragrance intermediate. It is stable, colorless, and soluble in most perfumery solvents.
Amyl Salicylate
Used in fine fragrances, detergents, and fabric conditioners as a long-lasting sweet floral note. Also serves as a raw material in sunscreen and cosmetic formulations for masking effects.
Low toxicity but may cause mild irritation on prolonged contact. Avoid oxidation and high-temperature storage.
Supplied in 25 kg aluminum or HDPE drums. Store sealed in cool, dark, ventilated conditions.
