Used in paints, detergents, and cleaners as a coupling solvent and grease remover. Also employed in inks, adhesives, and hydraulic fluids for improved flow and stability.

Moderate toxicity; prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Use gloves and avoid breathing vapor. Provide mechanical ventilation.

Supplied in 200 kg drums or bulk tankers. Store in ventilated, cool environments away from acids and oxidizers.
