Diethylhydroxylamine (C₄H₁₁NO) is a colorless to pale-yellow liquid functioning as an oxygen scavenger, polymerization inhibitor, and reducing agent.
Diethylhydroxylamine
Used in boiler water treatment to prevent corrosion, in styrene and acrylate production as an inhibitor, and as an antioxidant in rubber and plastics.
Flammable and corrosive; contact may cause burns. Avoid heating and contamination with oxidants. Handle under inert conditions.
Supplied in 170–200 kg steel drums or IBC tanks. Store cool, dry, and away from heat and light.
