TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
DLS is a Cosmetic Grade anionic surfactant renowned for its extreme mildness and superior foaming properties. It is an ideal sulfate-free alternative for sensitive skin and baby care formulations.
This clear liquid provides excellent detergency without stripping the skin’s natural oils. It features a large molecular size that prevents skin penetration, resulting in very low irritation potential.
As a high-performance surfactant, it acts as an effective hydrotrope and emulsifier in liquid soaps. It is compatible with other surfactants and helps to improve foam creaminess and stability in finished products.
APPLICATIONS
- Sulfate-Free Shampoos: Primary cleanser for color-treated hair and sensitive scalps to provide gentle cleaning.
- Baby Products: Used in “no-tear” formulations and baby baths due to its exceptionally mild toxicological profile.
- Hand Soaps: Enhances the skin-feel and lathering quality of premium liquid hand washes.
