Fluorosilicic acid is a colorless, corrosive liquid formed as a byproduct of phosphate fertilizer production. It is a strong fluorinating agent with industrial and municipal applications.
Fluorosilicic Acid
Used in water fluoridation, metal surface treatment, and aluminum fluoride production. Also applied in ceramic glazing and etching formulations.
Highly corrosive and toxic by ingestion or inhalation. Use acid-resistant PPE and local ventilation.
Supplied in 25–35 kg PE drums or 1,000 L IBC tanks. Store in acid-resistant containers away from bases.
