HEDP is an organophosphonate with strong chelating and scale-inhibition properties. It appears as a colorless to pale-yellow liquid or crystalline powder depending on formulation.
HEDP
Used in industrial water treatment, detergents, and oilfield scale control. Also applied in metal surface treatment and cleaning formulations to prevent corrosion and scaling.
Low acute toxicity but corrosive in concentrated form. Use acid-resistant PPE during handling.
Supplied in 30 kg plastic drums or 250 kg IBC tanks. Store sealed, cool, and away from alkalis.
