Sodium 2-Ethylhexyl Sulfate (CAS 126-92-1) is an anionic surfactant supplied as a colorless to light yellow solution or solid, formed by sulfation of 2-ethylhexanol and used as a wetting agent in textiles, an emulsifier in detergents and electroplating baths, an antimycotic in agriculture, and in oil recovery and cleaning formulations. Soluble in water, acts as anionic surfactant; produced from 2-ethylhexanol sulfation.
