Sodium Naphthalene Sulfonate (CAS 9084-06-4 / 36290-04-7) is an anionic naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde condensate polymer supplied as a brown powder or high-concentration liquid that disperses particles through a strong electrostatic charge, serving as a high-range water reducer in cementitious systems and as a dispersant in agrochemical and textile processing. It functions by imparting a strong electrostatic charge to particles, preventing agglomeration in aqueous suspensions. This Technical Grade polymer is essential for achieving high flowability in cementitious systems. SNF is highly compatible with various additives and remains stable across a wide temperature range. It is the industry standard for superplasticizers where high early strength in concrete is required.
